My duty is finished to half.
All windows in the building are open, smoke is in corridors, chambers, operational and procedural rooms, dressing wards and toilets and in the majority of doctors' lounges - same as in the street. In the resuscitation unit windows are closed, but smell of burning is the same, plus spreading stench of excrements and dressings decaying at 40 degrees.
Over the past day there are 17 died in hospital. On the day before - 16. By this morning there were 65 bodies in the hospital morgue including ones from the surrounding apartments. The bodies were piled in the basement standing - refrigerators are already busy.
Ambulance cars bring a lot of old persons with real thermal shock, but ambulance staff under pain of dismissal can not diagnose heat strokes or overheating, because "there is no heat, everything is allright in Moscow". We also do not give such a diagnosis - we do not want to be fired, we need to feed our families and only one thing we can do is to treate.
In case of the state of emergency medical personnel on duty paid on the double fare, but a state of emergency in our town will not be declared , because we have it "all right".
The situation is similar for all Moscow hospitals except for (unfortunately) the Central Kremlin Hospital.
P. S. To the Kremlin on a straight line - at most - 10 km. But who cares?
