Happy Holidays to you!

I'm trying to finish the middle book in the Demon Cycle series before it gets snatched off my Kobo by the library in 3 days! Still have so much to go. I suppose I can just re-borrow it if I have to!

Are you enjoying it? I might have to look that series up!

I love it, but it's quite a genre read.

It's about creatures ("demons") that come out at night so people (in this middle ages type setting) have to hide behind magical symbols that repel them to avoid getting eaten. But two separate individuals have discovered that there are also lost 'fighting' wards that allow them to fight back against the creatures. I am totally caught up in the story. The world building is excellent!

I found it at my library (the first book is called The Warded Man) so maybe check yours if you decided to try it out. :)

I just finished One Dog at a Time by Pen Farthing. It's going in the "giving" square, though I, unfortunately, didn't fill them all.

Hope your Christmas is merry and filled with joy!

I've heard good things about your book. I will have to see if I can get my hands on it.

I'm trying to finish up a biography called Beatrix Potter: a life in Nature by Linda Lear before the year is up.

It was really good although it also was a very through deep dive into her life. I am glad I read it.
