лишние переводы строки в почтовых уведомлениях

в получаемых мной по электронной почте уведомлениях об ответах на мои посты и комментарии наблюдаются лишние переводы строк, разбивающие URL на части и делающие их неработоспособными.

Это НЕ проблема с почтовым клиентом, я смотрел в исходный текст полученного сообщения, оно приходит уже разбитое на отдельные строки.
До 3 февраля всё работало нормально. Верните, пожалуйста, обратно.

До 3 февраля сообщения были закодированы в quoted-printable, и несмотря на физические переводы строк, в конце присутствовал символ = (soft line break), поэтому почтовый клиент корректно восстанавливал длинные строки:
