Huh. Wow.

Thanks!

I won't be using this, but I find myself very glad to finally have the option!

It looks like some strings have vanished off the info/profile page for communities (see http://community.livejournal.com/support_syn/profile) - the .commsettings.membership.header string is gone, as is .friends.viewentries later on down the page.

I'm noticing that /userinfo.bml.friends.viewentries doesn't show up anywhere for me in en_LJ, but the string is still there in the translation interface, and it's in other languages. Weird.

I'm sorry, I know this isn't the place for it....but is there ANY chance we could get an official release from LJ about why there hasn't been any news on the a la carte userpics some are saying was promised for release last year? I mean, if Dreamwidth can give an (over) detailed reason why they won't do it, could perhaps LJ do this seeing as they aren't releasing it? (or, on the flipside of the coin....could we get an estimate of when we might, for real this time, actually see this new feature?)

Thanks =)

With the Google ads - would you have the option to limit what types of ads were displayed?

Not that I would ever do it - all my friends would delete me. I'm just curious. If you didn't want ads you thought were inappropriate or if you wanted only ads for things related to your interests, could you do that?
