Release #52 is live - please be sure to leave bugs, comments, or questions on the mobile interface and the My Guests interstitial in the appropriate posts in
feedback - developers will be monitoring those threads. Any immediate issues relating to other items in this release are still appropriate here, though.
Features:
- Added number of participants to poll display header
- New default style for Cyrillic users, but available to all (Summer by Yoksel)
- An interstitial will be shown to all users so they can select their visibility settings for the upcoming My Guests feature. This feature is planned for release at a future date - for more information, see this post in feedback.
Bugs:
- Fixed issue that was causing some notification changes to not save correctly (LJSV-548)
- Fix XSS bug in S2 (Thanks to DW: 1462)
- Tags now appear when previewing an entry (LJSV-519)
- Fixed typo in error message for The Indy (LJSV-672)
- Corrected validation of purchase items in gift shop cart
- Corrected absolute positioning issue in comments (Thanks to DW: 1358)
- Id, class, and style tags are no longer allowed in the subject of a post
- Added a space between username and Note on the profile when new note added
- Fixed issue which resulted in "Bad unicode" error when leaving comments on articles for The Independent
LJ Messenger bugfixes:
- Fixed issue that would sometimes prevent LiveJournal Messenger notifications from being delivered until the user loaded a new page
- Read messages are now displayed in history window
- "target=_blank" has been removed from all events links so that they open in current browser window
- Added confirmation information when adding new contact "Your request has been sent. [[username]] will be added to your Contacts list when they approve the request"
- Browser window will now blink when new message is received
- LiveJournal users may now delete their Windows Live ID LJ Messenger accounts by using https://www.livejournal.com/mlm/delete.bml

- A new interface for use with mobile devices is available at http://m.livejournal.com/
- Known issues: the option to select a security setting when posting and the ability to view syndicated feeds on friends pages will be added in the next version
