I've asked about the Australian voice post issues before (with our voice posts being restricted to 30 seconds) and apparently it is up to the phone companies as well as LJ, and the phone companies aren't getting around to it, I guess.

I'm wondering why I receive comments in my inbox when someone comments in my journal when I usually just get them e-mailed to me?

I wonder if I'm the only person annoyed the LJ-Cut issues haven't been rectified YET. But maybe it only affects a small group of people. *sigh*

It's the same as with my above comment regarding non-USA voice posting. It seems that if not enough people are bringing it up, they won't do anything about it, and won't even bother responding to comments asking about it.

I can't count the number of posts I've commented on in News and in LJ Releases asking for an update, but no one on staff EVER replies. Sigh.

Or like mine - they respond with generic comments -- as if I didn't know it was a known issue. My point is keep making all these pointless new features and changes and do nothing at all with long-standing known issues.

My apologies for trying to help. I'm not LJ staff or even a senior volunteer. I just thought you might want to know the problem is being worked on. Not everyone follows, or knows about, all of the official communities.
