Batch changing livejournal entries visibility

Sorry about the last time, I've toyed with .htacess a little and the link became unavailable... Now it works.Recently I've written a little program for the batch change on livejournal posts's visibility settings for Free accounts (I needed to close "private" posts for several years and it's toooooo long to make manually ( Read more... )

Wow. That was harsh. If I only knew there were so many solutions then I wouldn't bother to write one more...
Anyway, as I saw, LJ-Sec requires .NET framework, ljsecedit.pl needs Perl and HideJournal must have Java Runtime Environment to run...
My application only needs windows and internet connection =_=
It's not cool:)))

Also, my software will work for all other livejournal-based systems.
But that's a pity that I didn't know about all these programs - I wasted several days on writing my own :( And I really googled for solutions...

I don't know about the others, but the only one I managed to find when I did this many months ago was ljsecedit.pl. It's only an option if you can read Perl; the documentation isn't so great, and the program doesn't always do what you'd think it would do, anyway. I remember it not handling time periods very well, for example. I ended up starting with the code provided and modifying bits and pieces (with the LJ documentation open alongside) to get it to do what I wanted.
