This script adds unfold functionality to LJ, it will unfold comments that have been hidden without having to reload the page or browse to a different page.

Greasemonkey scrips are said to work in Opera too, but I haven't managed to get it to work yet...

I just updated the script and was able to make it work for opera, though you have to install another userjs script that can be found here.

Works with Safari using GreaseKit.

It's not working for me (10.4.10, Safari 2.0). >= I don't suppose there's a base script you have to install first, that I'm just not seeing?

Greasekit? http://8-p.info/greasekit/

And Greasekit requires SIMBL... unless you've installed all of that and it's just not working with Safari 2.0, because I'm using v 3.0 and it's working for me.

Mmm, yeah, might be. Should prolly get 3.0 anyway, I guess, so I'll try that.

For those of you following at home: It works, in that the links come up, and doesn't, as they don't actually unfold. Possibly I don't have enough RAM, however.
In any case, progress!
