Hiding CProd Boxes
Some people dislike the new CProd boxes, but there's currently no way to permanently disable them. (Yes, you can say "Don't show me this again", but that won't prevent new ones from popping up when they become available, if I understand correctly.) 1. The page right after you log in through the website
2. The page that gets displayed right after you update to your journal
3. The page that appears after you edit your profile
So, basically they're all "dead end" type pages that don't have other information, but some people just don't like getting repeatedly reminded about stuff they already knew. (I'm assuming most of the folk in lj_nifty have a pretty good handle on LJ's features, for instance, and already know most of what those prods are saying.)
