"minifesto" is a tool that uses Lisp behind the scenes to generate animated GIF LJ icons containing any text the user enters.

Definitely "nifty".

I see an icon that says "Please see to the rest of this, Fuyutsky sensei." in an animated way...not sure what might be wrong when viewing it.

There are browsers and also popup blockeres etc that think it's a great plan to disable animated gifs by default. You could check them?
