Well, thanks for finally updating about this. However, I just discovered I'm in cluster #11 and I still can't log in to my LJ the regular way (I'm logged in via Facebook for now) OR even access my livejournal. Is cluster #11 somehow closely related to cluster #9 and also experiencing problems? This doesn't make sense. I assumed I was in #9 because of all the problems, but I checked the whereami link (as logged in via FB) and it tells me I'm in Fajita #11. I'm stumped.

edit: This just crossed my mind... with all the chewing on the wires Frank has been doing, you'd think he'd be dead by now.... guess they're not "live" wires, eh?

(I know, I know, stupid joke... what can I say, I'm trying to pass the time somehow, LOL)

When you log in with FB, it creates an entirely new account, it is not connected to your existing LiveJournal account[s]. Because you can log in this way, this account is on a different cluster than your other account[s], which is likely on cluster 9.

If you try to log on via the mobile application on iPhone if this is an option for you, if it fails, it will tell you the cluster you're on.

I thought I was on Cluster 7 because things have been messed up since 1pm yesterday and it's almost 4:30pm today. But, apparently I'm on 9 and so very lucky because I get to wait even longer.... Bleh.

On my actual real journal, I mean, and not this dummy one.

You're logged in to LiveJournal with your Facebook account, not your LiveJournal account. Your LiveJournal account may be connected to your Facebook account to allow you to crosspost, but otherwise they are separate. When you log in to LiveJournal with OpenID, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, or other identity services, you generate what's referred to as an identity account. The identity account is on Cluster 11. If you can't log in with your LiveJournal account, it's on Cluster 9.

Thanks for letting me know, I never knew that before. Figures that I have to be on cluster 9... *sigh*
