Desi music in Amreekan ad

I wanted to share this American advertisement with everyone.
Now, I don't know how common it is that American advertisements have recognisable Indian numbers playing in the background but I found it quite interesting. (Mods, please delete this post if you deem it inconsequential.)
The ad has clearly appropriated (or misappropriated?) one of the most famous Bollywood songs of the early 1990s. I don't know if the composer's widow or his estate got any royalties for this. Have at it :)
In case you couldn't guess it, the music is from R D Burman's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha.
