Is there any way to take advantage of LiveJournal-placed cookies that say you're logged in? The only way I could imagine doing an LJ-approved crossposter would be is if all it did was use the cookies that the site itself placed on your browser for authentication purposes; the user would need to be logged-in on all the LJ-based sites they would like to post to, but no password would need to be provided to the script or client itself.
