Sooo irritating, that even when a company does great things people still will find things to bitch about on those projects too.

I think the community on the whole is pretty good. It's just the vocal minority being ... well, a vocal minority.

I didn't see anyone bitch about spamming when there was a post in news about the donations from perm accounts.

I don't think that's true. Yeah, people would have complained, but not about being spammed. Probably more about LJ itself.

I personally don't know why this wasn't posted to news, but I do know that something of this caliber doesn't exactly fit the cutesy more colloquial theme of news. So maybe that's it. news has kind of devolved into a joke.

People complain when things are posted here, and they complain when things are posted there.

I think I know where the pattern begins.

Anyone complaining about something like this that's intended to help kids is very shallow.
