Updates on the LiveJournal Advisory Board

We have seen a lot of interest in the Advisory Board since our announcement on Sunday, and we wanted to give you an update. There were a number of questions that we wanted to take a moment to answer top level to make sure everyone saw them

Since June. Early June. August is when they said they'd get it to us "in a couple of weeks."

It was late May! I watched the finale to Shear Genius! I've forgotten who won :(

They're hoping we'll eventually forget that they promised us that policy document.

Nope - we were told last Friday morning. We came in for a meeting on that policy and got new owners!

It does change things, but only in the way that the new LiveJournal, Inc. wants to involve feedback from the users in that policy. That's what lj_policy is going to be for.
