I uploaded the local user icon plugin this evening and I can't seem to get it to work. Everytime I try to select an image to open, it tells me that the "Copy unsuccessful." It doesn't seem to matter about the format (it was a png image, I resaved it as a jpg and gif). Any ideas of what might be wrong?

I had been the User Photo plugin eariler; that's been disabled but not completely deleted. Have you seen any interaction between them?

I'm also having problems with the ALA plugin as well. It picks up the icon great with OpenID, but with the email address of @livejournal, I get nothing.

The two plugins can work together right?

For the local avatar--can you copy the whole error message for me? I've had one person whose server was set up not to allow file-fetching via url, and if it says anything about "wget" I won't be able to do anything. If it's a different problem, though, I'll give it a shot.

I'm using the OpenID plugin. It seems to be working fine, it's more that it's having problems retrieving the icon if it's from the @livejournal.com address ( ... )
