Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed! I remember watching repeats as a kid, too--it seems like it was on a lot back then, but I can't recall seeing it for ages. Shame. Yep, Danneel was very sneak, but Jared definitely deserved it. ;p
This was such a fun and adorable read. I liked how Jared wasn't just this perfect person, he really was a bit spoiled and oblivious, but you also provided just enough background info that we could understand why without feeling beaten over the head with his history and reasons. Kudos! I honestly was initially surprised when it was Daneel that was cast as Samantha but then it made such perfect sense and the characterizations were so easy to get on board with. Jared's POV was very sympathetic, from his confused eagerness to spend more time with Jensen and creating excuses to make this happen, to his freak-out at discovering the truth about Jensen. Jensen was more of a cipher but that felt right, because this was told from Jared's POV, so of course we were seeing things from his eyes. I really enjoyed! Especially enjoyed Daneel's sense of humor and final way of testing Jared to see what he would really commit to.
I did consider having Jensen playing the Samantha role, but I figured the chance of that TV show getting made are still slim, sadly. And yes, Jared was spoiled and a little bit thoughtless, but I'm glad you thought he didn't stray too far into obnoxious. It's also good to hear his backstory worked for you, because I didn't wat it to be too intrusive. Danneel--yes, she was definitely making sure Jared was ready to commit. Such a good cousin! ;p Thanks for commenting!
