We talked about Buddhism in my philosophy class today. It's a pretty amazing religion. And I couldn't stop thinking about that dumb saying, cause it just seems so blatantly simple and true, even if people don't realize it. Or if they just don't want to. Pain is definitely inevitable, but it's the person who makes a conscious effort to dwell on

true story. it's hard to realize when you're relishing in your own self pity, but it helps a lot to keep in mind.
