Am I moving? Am I moving?

So it's been two months since I moved back to my Homeland. Somethings are good, somethings are bad. Here's what I've been up to:

1. Audition for Spectrum: "We really like you, and we're keeping your CV on file, but we don't have any contracts for women right now." Yep, uh-huh, I know the drill, I've heard this line about 1,256 times by now. Muchas Gracias.

2. Job #1: Waitress at Casa d'Italia...

3. Job #2: Dancing with Arc. It's a teeny, tiny dance company here in Seattle. We have our first show in October. Charlotte and her friend Devin are going to come and see what a load of crap it is...oh and P.S.: I get $100/month for doing this. What does that work out to an hour you ask? A grand total of $1.78/hour

4. Job #3: Teaching everything from Creative Movement to Advanced Modern at Turning Pointe Dance Centre (oh, yes my friend, they spell it that way)

5. Job#4: Teaching Pre-Ballet at Arc.

So that's that. Things are looking a bit up though. I'm going to show the solo that Eva choreographed for me last summer at Dance Fremont in October, and we're looking into showing it at Velocity. Was approached by another choreographer yesterday about some possible work. We'll see. At this point my impression of dance in Seattle is pretty low...would give anything for some Erna or C de la B or Grand Theatre or a performance at l'ADC or even Ballet de Lorraine. Putain de merde...j'en ai marre. Et puis voila. Je crois que on va bouger au Montreal, au plus vite possible. Merci bien.
