They're back!
My parents came home tonight around 8:30. I had cleaned part of the kitchen and picked a bouquet of flowers for the counter, and found a nice tablecloth for the dining room and bought a red rose to put in a wine bottle my parents really liked so it became a vase the way they wanted. I also baked my father his favorite type of cake, chocolate with mint frosting and drizzled "welcome home" in melted chocolate on the top. I also made his bed nice and comfortable and pretty. Oh and I also fixed the holes in our screen door and cleaned the hallway. I think that's all I did though.
It was nice having the house to myself. I got to sleep naked for the first time because no one would be there. I figured I might as well because I probably won't have the chance again anytime remotely soon.
I have four days in a row off coming up beginning on Monday, which would be nice, except that it will be followed by working 10 days in a row. After that I'll still have to be working a lot more than usual because Kristen will not be here anymore. Karinna won't even be during most of the day because she'll be in school. Blah.
Well Sean wants me to hurry up and finish this thing so he can read it, so I guess I'll stop here. Good night!
