I'm not tired, and I don't feel like studying or doing anything else, really, so clearly that means it is SURVEY TIME.
1. What can you see that is blue besides your tumblr dashboard?
A stack of index cards on the coffee table and my Peter Pan glass. Not much else, really.
2. What have you eaten today?
Breakfast: cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee
Lunch: smoked gouda & romaine on a pretzel roll, carrots, Greek yogurt with strawberries, water
Dinner: Tarte d'Alcace, glass of cider
3. What is your favorite food?
My absolute favorite thing to eat is cereal with milk. I could exist on that quite happily for days at a stretch, and sometimes do when things get busy.
4. What is your favorite color?
My favorite colors are green and pink, and have been so since I was little. Lime green, particularly, has always been 'my' color.
5. What is your least favorite color?
Salmon. It's just gross. Nobody looks good in salmon.
6. Who was your last kiss with? Was it pleasant?
My last kiss was with Ben, a couple of weeks ago, and no, it was not, because he kissed me against my will despite the fact that I've had the 'I just want to be friends' talk with him about a million times. He attempted to kiss me several more times and grabbed my ass before I evicted him from my home. We no longer speak because the whole thing really freaked me out.
7. What color shoes did you last wear?
The last shoes I wore were Sperries with plaid trim. I throw those on with nearly everything.
8. What is your biggest vice?
This feels like a job interview. Hell, I don't know. There are several I could choose from.
9. Who has made you laugh the hardest in the last week?
Without recalling any specifics I'm going to say my sister, because 99% of the time that is the case.

Unsurprisingly, it's coffee.

Currently I am the Writing Specialist for Lindenwood University's history department. It's difficult to say if I enjoy it because no history students have made appointments with me that have happened yet, so I sit in the writing center and handle walk-ins and do my own homework and look through the drawers in my sister's office for chocolate.

My favorite season is autumn for many, many reasons, but particularly how cozy and bright everything is.
13. Can you do a handstand or cartwheel?
Bahahaha, no. Unless I were literally in an open field, I would end up hitting somthing or someone. I have very long limbs.

My fingernails are unpainted; my toenails are dark red.
15. If you had to get a tattoo on your face to save your life, what would it be?
That's a good question. I don't know. A little daisy, maybe. I do love daisies.

My bedroom is very vintage-girly-preppy. The furniture is a warm wood 1930s Hollywood Regency set, and I've decorated the place in pink, green, and white, with Lilly Pulitizer bedding, spring green curtains, framed stills from my favorite old movies, monogrammed everything, and touches of African art.

The movie Labyrinth. No, I'm not kidding. I'm probably a little bit twisted, but that's okay with me.
18. On average, how many hours per day do you spend on your computer?
Quite a lot, between work and school and recreation.

I'm very, very happy.

Just everything, is all! I have a job I like, it's my favorite season, I'm loving Junior League, I have sleepy cats curled up next to me on the sofa.

I like all of these at different times and moods. Libraries, though, are too quiet for my taste.

Going to Disney World.

I don't know. Best as in, my favorite movie? Critical acclaim? I tend to hate most movies that get nominated for Best Picture because they tend to be depressing, dull, and about four hours long. I mean, I don't want movies to be completely mindless, but I spend most of my life buried in academia. If I go to a movie I want to be entertained, damn it, and I don't want it to be depressing.

Very happily single.

Mountains freak me the hell out. I feel very, very claustraphobic. I didn't know this until a family trip to Colorado when I was fifteen; I never want to go back there, either.

There are lots of dreams I have. I've always wanted to go to Egypt, and actually thought about studying at the American University in Cairo at one point, but then the whole country more or less imploded and it's too dangerous now.
