Cough, Splutter, Splat
Paul has just brought me home from the doctor. Seems I could have bronchitis or early pneumonia. Great start for the Easter break hey?
The sister-in-charge told me something interesting. She said that if you are taking Sudafed of other drying medications or anti-histamines and don't have any improvement within two days, you should stop taking them as they assist the bug to go down to your chest. Now I know why I almost always end up with a chest infection. I have had both bronchitis and pneumonia in the past and don't particularly want either of them again. The doc said if I haven't improved in two days, I have to go to hospital. yeah, yeiah, yeah. as if.
I'm trying my hardest to not go near Marko. The last thing in the world I would want to do is infect him. I haven't got a clue where I picked the germ up from as I don't know of anyone else with it. The nurse reckons one of her doctors admitted a baby and an adult to hospital this morning with this same bug so it must be going around.
Who would like to make me chicken soup please (without the chicken preferably)?
