Back from California

California was awwwwwwwwwwwwwwesome.
I went to Hollywood and saw the Chinese theatre. I stepped in Judy Garlands foot imprints ( my feet were way bigger) and saw Bruce Willis's and a million other peoples, walked the walk of fame and of course saw the big hollywood sign. And what a thrill that was. But I gotta say for someone who has been obsessed with the idea of LA since fifth grade I was kind of dissapointed. I mean seeing Hollywood and Sunset Strip was really cool but the actual city itself is kind of like any other city but with palm trees and it SUCKS to drive around in. It might even be worse than Boston, traffic wise and the smog is pretty gross.
We checked out Beverly Hills too. Just seeing the Beverly Hills sign brought back memories of countless nights of watching 90210 while talking on the phone with elephantasm haha remember that? The mansions were crazy and very private. The gates were convered with trees higher than the actual houses themselves but Brad Pitt does live in Beverly Hills so maybe I drove by his house oooh la la.
Then we went to disneyland which was pricey but well worth it. Kurt was like a little kid and forced me to go on every single ride even Pinocchio's adventures or something like that. Pirates of the Caribbean was cool and the Buzz light year ride haha. But some of the rides were closed because its considered off season right now. Disneyland had a nother park right across from it "California Adventure Park" which was pretty cool. They had a fake hollywood scene set up. I went on the Tower of Terror and this insane roller coaster that I was a little freaked out by considering that the people that were on it earlier in the day had to walk down it because it got stuck at the top. But I went on it anyway cause I knew I never would have heard the end of it if I hadn't. It was huge and went around the entire park. Right in the middle of it was a mickey mouse head and ears and it went upside down inside mickeys head. I pretty much had my eyes closed the entire time.
At the end of the week we went to Santa Barbara and stayed we Heather. It was beautifulll there. Surrounded by mountains there were houses nestled all the way on the tops. It must be crazy trying to go to work in the morning for the people that live there. I've heard that a lot of celebrities having houses there including my own personal hero Oprah. But enough about that.

Now its back to real life and the bullshit that is school and work. I didn't go to class today because our connecting flight was delayed two hours last night in Atlanta and we didn't get home 2 in the morning after a $50 dollar cab ride. Did I mention that I'm completely broke after this trip? Anyways so I email my TA for my oh so wonderful comp lit class to syau I won't be in discussion and this is like the second or third one I've missed. I mention to him that I added the class late and he said I should probably come by his office hours because that is a lot to miss. I'd just like to point out how much I can't stand this class in the first place and that I always wind up with one bullshit class like this a semester that I have to fight myself not to withdraw from. Alright I need to stop rambling and start doing laundry. Breathe in Breathe out
