(no subject)
It's so nice outside. The sun is out, it's a lovely 70 degrees, not so humid, no bugs even!
I went for a drive early this morning, after Vince left for work. Up to work to check the schedule (didn't want a repeat performance of Friday, ie., show up for work an hour early), get the Taurus washed, to my favorite place, the grocery store!, for veggies for Bijou-birdie breakfast. He was getting too much fruit, too much sugar. He'll still get peach, plum, orange, and apple, on a rotating basis, but now he has new sugarsnap peas, green beans, broc, cauliflower, carrot and edamame that he'll get every day. He came down to the food dish right away when I put in a new bean and gave me kisses before utterly destroying the thing. (What a good birdie!)
I haven't seen the turtle eggs in a few days (been sick all weekend), and I know it hasn't rained - they need to be watered. I hope they're okay, that the ants haven't gotten them or they haven't dried out. :(
I'm a little nervous for Rob. I keep hearing about all this flooding in Kansas, but I'm pretty sure it's all on the other side of the state. Well, and he finishes up next week? In two weeks? Something like that. They offered him a job at Lawerence Memorial (and one of his patient's daughters offered him a job in (lol) Eugene, OR). I don't know what he's gonna do though. I mean, he's coming home to go to Woman Lake in August, but after that.
I just learned the other day how to convert RGB to hex color. Holy jeez, how come no one ever told me it was so bloody easy? Divide by 16, lolol.
