Well mostly anyway.
Found out there was a setting in the Custom Styles menu that needed to be turned off so default layout wouldn't keep trying to force it's rules back into my custom one like some sort of overzealous Twilight fan. Still isn't totally where I want it to be yet, but it's a step in the right direction, so yay.
I'm a little cheesed with Wordpress. Apparently I have to pay $15 a year if I want the right privilege of using my own CSS for my blog. Sure I can get cool looking freebie layouts, but the only way to use them is if I host my Wordpress blog on my own server, which conveniently costs $10 a month to map over from Wordpress. So for the time being I have to use one of Wordpress's generic layouts. I guess if I end up liking Wordpress over the next year I'll pay the $10 to have it mapped over or whatever and make up my own freebie theme. I'm not even sure if that will excuse me from having to pay the $15 CSS fee or not.
In other news, my new credit card came in today, so I headed over to Amazon and bought my Nikon D3000 10.2 MP DSLR with 18-55mm lens for a cool $449.88; about $100 less than what everyone else is selling it for and $20 cheaper than it was on Black Friday (score!). It's an investment for sure, but I've waited so long for a good bargain like this. Hopefully I'll get a camera bag for Xmas. *hint, hint* Oh epic cosplay photos will be made...
