Idle hands, it has been said, are the devil's workshop, and an idly curious mind must be even more so. To this end, Elizabeth has recently taken it into her head to explore the so-called Mansion from top to bottom. A tall young man with long hair and pale skin sits in a chair in the middle of the room, staring idly into space with a soft frown on his features. He looks up, surprised, at Lizzy's entrance, and regards her with a calm glance, curious, but too sedate to form an expression. "Hello."

"Oh - hello," she says in some confusion, backing up half a step before stopping, still staring (most unladylike! but she's just curious enough not to mind). "I did not realize there was anyone here--"

"That's all right," he murmurs. "I'm not sure I count as anyone. Come in, if you want. Were you looking for something?"

"Oh, no indeed, sir," she answers with a momentary laugh. "Everyone counts as someone. I was not looking for something in particular, but merely exploring the premises; they are so vast and queer, after all," she adds apologetically, "that I could hardly help my curiousity."

She cannot help but wonder at his strange demeanour, but is far too polite to say anything directly-- just the same, "Are you quite all right, sir?"
