Leaving town....
Well this is going to be my last update for a little while since I am going to be gone from Iowa City and computer access for about a week, I might have a chance on Saturday but that's about it. I'll be attending Luther College's music program for a week, you know playing my violin with an orchestra and singing up a storm in choir. Good times are ahead, there are a lot of attractive boys also especially since I don't have a boyfriend. I go up on Sunday and I'm rooming with Kari and possibly some other people just don't know for sure yet. On Saturday my cousin is having her Wedding Shower which I really don't want to go to because it's a bunch of married women talking about married life...of course me not being married wouldn't be able to contribute to the conversation so I am left out sitting with several younger children (baby cousins). I can't begin to tell you how excited I am....But the next day I do get to go up to Luther and I'm really excited for that, it's my favorite time of the year!
This week has been kinda busy, haven't had much time during the day to enjoy the nice weather or anything. I've been training and having staff meetings for my new summer job and it's been from 8-3 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday so it's kinda hectic and tiring all at once. It'll be worth it in the end because I'm working with really cool people and one of my supervisors is ubers of fun. Plus I'll be making about 1,200 dollars so it's all good. Today I didn't do much, I hung out with Leslie for a bit and am just about to go pack for Luther, oh yes and washing clothes (my mother is a stupid bitch...I won't even get into that).
I better be going otherwise I'll be up all night packing and getting things ready. Adios for a week guys!!
