these pants are a new tradition, I've decided. the booties were added at the last minute.

we decorated the bedroom and brought Christmas Eve in to dad. I think it turned out well. Christmas wasn't really so different this year.

we played it all by ear. he was in a lot of pain, pretty much constantly... but despite it all, Christmas wasn't much different this year than it's been in years past. surgery's on the 6th, so he'll be up on his feet and out keeping the world safe for democracy in no time.
