busy, busy, busy.
it seems I don't ever really make the time to update my journal these days. that'll change again in time, I'm sure. ours is an on-again off-again relationship.
I sent e-mails to the professors of the 4000-level writing workshops requesting consideration for any seats that open up. Hopefully, on the strength of my writing samples, I'll land a spot. Otherwise, I won't be graduating until after the summer session. It doesn't bother me anymore - not really. I'll finish when I finish.
Mom, Dad, and Missy got into town last night. I had breakfast with them this morning before they left for Poppop and Judi's. I spent the morning picking up the wine and doing my laundry and I'll be driving out to join them later tonight after work. A nice, big family thanksgiving in Freeport.
Missy's been getting some pretty severe migraines lately, so she had some tests done. The MRAs revealed a cyst on her pineal gland. It may be unrelated to the migraines, but it's almost definitely responsible for the problems that she's been having with her sleep cycle. The doctors say it's nothing to fret over, so we've deemed it safe to joke about.
