(no subject)
Lots of awesome things are coming up soon! I leave for NY in two days and I am super excited- I haven't seen my family in years and I am looking forward to the nice change of scenery. I finally broke down and joined the 21st century by purchasing a digital camera last week, so expect tons of pictures =) Tomorrow is my last final exam EVER and I am officially done with college!!!!!!!!!
I come back from NY on Sunday and Monday is my last day of work. I really can't wait to be done with my current job- there's just so much negativity in the office, the tasks are so mundane, the people i deal with on a daily basis are morons, and the potential for growth was promised but never delivered (I'm not placing blame on anyone specific for this, but the point is, it still sucks). I remember being super sad about leaving my internship; it was a blast and I had so much fun, there weren't these feelings of wanting to get the hell out- it's a big difference between the feelings I have about my current job and the one previous to this. I believe that the best possible outcome happened and I belong where I am going and there is tons of potential there and I will have fun while I'm doing it.
So I plan on partying hard, sleeping, enjoying my free time for the rest of next week. Next Friday is graduation and that should be great, plus Cinco de Mayo, which should be amazing since it is my first one being 21!!! Saturday is the graduation party in PC which I am really looking forward to, and then Monday I start the new job!!!! Lots of exciting things in the immediate future, yay!!!
