Ew.
So there are all these spiders that create webs outside in the stairwell around my apartment and they are so creepy and I think one day they are going to land on my head. Naturally since I hate and fear spiders, this makes me feel quite uneasy. Today, I try to go to class and did not find parking so I came home and decided to be brave and reclaim Tivoli from our 8-legged enemies. I chose my weapon, a broom, and went outside and started swinging. I spotted the gross spider that bothers me the most due to its location right above the stairs and went for him first. He tried to climb up the wall but my fierce sweeping skills were too much for him, and I knocked him over but I did not see where he retreated to. At this point, I was freaked out, but spider= 1.5 inches Liz= 62 inches, so I shouldn't be too scared, but was freaked out nonetheless. I noticed a spider that lives right by my door so I went for him next and he was pretty easy. Then, I saw another spider like right above my doorway that I had never seen before and decided he had to go as well. I knocked him off the ceiling and he tried to come after me, but I stepped on him and splattered his guts all over the floor. It felt damn good. But since I have not located and murdered Spider #1, I fear that he is going to try and get revenge and I have this nasty feeling that spiders are crawling all over me. Karma's a bitch I guess.
