Long time no post
So I haven't read LJ in a billion years... and honestly I don't feel inclined right now either, sadly.
So, I'm at college. It's a pretty good time. Usually I'm much more enthusiastic, but right now I'm sulking over the downsides: I'm v. tired, I'm sick and no mom to take care of me, and I'm still grumpy from the ridiculously hard midterm I took last night that everyone else thought was sooooooo easy.
But I love it here, no matter what. It's weird being dumb, needing help all the time, asking anyone and everyone to tutor me and help me with my homework. But I think I'm eventually going to learn to (gasp!) actually apply myself. Yeah, I know. Crazy.
I love Sarah. Sarah is my roommate. She is a stud. (Though I hate her because she a) has no morning classes and b) has no hard classes.) I also love all of my friends, ie The Yellow Mafia, which is what our RCC (resident computer something) named us because we are all either blonde or Asian. Haha.
And our room is TOTALLY the hang out room. Which is amazing and awesome, except for the fact that it's impossible to study in here. Seriously.
Tomorrow is football!! Against U of O!! Brian Don is coming up for a few days to go to the game and hang out. It'll be nice to see him.
(Still sulky I didn't get to go to Yellowcard/TSL concert)
So the point is is that I am alive, and I'm lost and confused but just really glad that I'm allowed to be lost and confused, that it's not the end of the world if I'm not acing every class, and if I've done a few dumb things (heh. um. hehe.) in this first month.
