Harry Potter

I finally finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows today. I started reading it yesterday after my sister finished it.

Of course there are spoilers and whatnot behind the cut.

I would love to read what you guys thought about it, too.

First of all,
I thought I would be more saddened by the end of the series, but I am not. I really should have waited a little more before I read the "Nineteen Years Later" Epilogue. It was too much fluff after a very intense book. (And I sort of laughed when I saw Harry say "Albus Severus," It was too much for me.)

Anyway, I cried in book 5 when Sirius died, and in this book I have to say I teared up a little when Hedwig died and when George lost his ear, but then laughed a little bit at the Holey part. I feel bad that I wasn't so sad when Mad-Eye died. I seriously thought he would magically come back, but of course that was not the case when we read about his eye on the door. And of course, at least Harry had some closure with Moody by burying the eye ♥.

Anyway, I freaked out when Fred, Lupin, and Tonks died. First of all J.K. was just like "Oh yeah, Lupin and Tonks are dead!" But it was still sad. And Fred... UGHH--- How unfair. I seriously ughhh I don't know, its just like How could you kill off FRED?!.

But I cried the most when Harry used the Resurrection Stone to bring back the people he loved. I cried and cried, and the fact that I have a cold (in summer ugh) did not help. I sniffled ten times more. Anyway, I wished they had more Sirius or something.

The part with Dumbledore in Kings Cross was really kind of interesting and yet at the same time it seemed almost anti-climactic for Dumbledore to almost explain everything, but then again the intensity increased with the battle of Harry vs. Voldemort.

And can I please say how BADASS NEVILLE WAS. I have always loved Neville, and he was just amazing in this book. Dude, HE KILLED NAGINI with the sword just like that. He was so brave and courageous. Haha, I love Neville. I am so glad he didn't die.

I was still a little sad because of the Resurrection Stone "scene," that when Mrs. Weasley said, "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH" I laughed and just loved Mrs. Weasley, because even though she is so protective of her children half the time, including here, you admire her and love her at the same time. And she can kick ass. -- as in Bellatrix.

And I thought it sort of uncharacteristic of Lupin at the beginning when he wanted to leave Tonks. I don't know it just didn't seem right.

And it made sense that Snape was awesome all along, I don't really have a lot to say about that but I mean, everyone knew that he was in love Lily, or at least thought so, right? At least, that is what I thought, anyway.

The Deathly Hallows were awesome, and I am so glad that they had someone like Xeno Lovegood believe in them for some reason.

I totally just remember the DURSLEY'S! I wish we could have found out what happened to them. Oh well, I am really glad that it was sort of sad for Harry to see them leave, you know?

Redemption: Percy, Kreacher, The Dursleys sort of, The Malfoys, Wormtail
yay! ♥ I am glad about those characters redeeming themselves.

I have a ton more to say but I have already said a ton.

"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?"
