GO PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA!!!!!!!
Today, I am proud to be an American, proud to be a newly-minted Democrat, and thrilled to be a young lady in such an amazing, historical, marvelous time.
I can't believe, now, that I didn't think a year or so ago that I'd like Barack Obama. But when I woke up a little, and actually looked at Obama's policies--well, I'm a Democrat. Who knew?
Obama's policies reflect our very real need to take care of each other, to look out for others' interests besides our own. First and foremost I vote as a Catholic, and I very firmly believe that an Obama/Biden presidency will do everything for my ideals--and that a McCain/Palin one would not have, as well as being disasterous to the economy, health care, foreign policy, and more or less everything else.
So in case you can't tell...yep, I'm delighted!!!!!!!!!
