busted!

As can be seen, very rarely explained here. Often you want to write something, and if so long there was nothing, I think that should explain it all at once, something special to write. And this is usually not obtained. Now I want to write in Russian, although I do not know how many Russian speakers read here. Maybe, it will communicate here more in Russian (and must also write in English!).

Today I was surprised that Christmas is already on next week. A week later, on Christmas Eve! This year, I asked for my release from work and on Christmas Eve, very fond of the liturgy (with a royal and evening hours) on this day.

Decided to apply for graduate school (for the next school year). At one university has already submitted (it was necessary to file in December!), Another two'd be now. I want to enter the faculty of Slavic, teach linguistics / philology. Specifically, I want to study Slavic medieval manuscripts and the development of language in these manuscripts ... a little hard to find in America University, where it will be possible. Invented in Russia to learn ... And it may be difficult for some reason ... If there will probably both start, and only then to Russia for a year or something.

What else to write ... I do not know. Time flies, Christmas fast is over, will soon begin the Great. And it seems that not fasted for the benefit, in my heart bezporyadok. Always busy, but did not have time ... It is winter, not too cold (we still have no snow, and the truth often does not happen in the city), and dark ... In a society that Christmas has passed, and for the relatives, too (they are not Orthodox). And we are still waiting. We celebrated with my parents, and not feel that it was Christmas, it is still in front.

Hah! Now people can read it and I don't have to write it in English? Not too bad, but I think some of it doesn't make so much sense. Is that Google translate?

:) That's a good one! It was supposed to be "the truth is, it often doesn't [snow] in the city]". I think the google translate version makes a little too much sense to me.

I like the Google translation, it gives a good rhythm to how sentance structure is in Russian.

I also liked "the truth often does not happen in the city" but not quite as much as I liked "in my heart bezporyadok" - apparently somethings are just not translatable.

It was fantastic to see you, I hope to see you again soon! We will have the Riggles down for the Super Bowl, would you like to trek to Olympia and attend?

Hah! Can you understand any of the Russian??? "безпорядок" means "disorder" by the way.

It was amazing to see you too!! Did we scare Claudia by suddenly babbling really fast about languages for half an hour? :) I'm glad I got to meet her, she seemed really nice! I might do that, I'm not sure what is going on that weekend yet. Let me know details though, I'll think about it. I do want to see you soon. :)

I amused myself by picking out what I could read, but I didn't know that word.

Claudia didn't seem to be upset in the slightest - and I had a fantastic conversation!

I will keep you in the email loop when we get closer to the date :)

Christ is Born! A blessed Feast!
