I went with my friend to the Old Frog Pond Farm art installation again today. We enjoyed it last year, and looked forward to seeing what they did this year. It was a beautiful October day, bright and sunny, and the leaves are becoming quite colorful, so it was a nice drive over to the town of Harvard.
There were lots of new sculptures scattered throughout the grounds.
My favorite was "Outside the Lines," an interactive feature with a box filled with balls of string on sticks that you add to the maze-like path through the trees. It was an Ariadne moment. :)
Another one I really liked was a Zen garden, with rakes you could use to make patterns in the sand.
The armor dresses were fun.
It's a lovely place, and so close.
It was nice to get out of the house, and do something fun.
