plans gone awry
I had hoped to be able to go to NYC this weekend, but as it turns out, my cousin is busy. So that's been put on hold for the time being. I will make it there this spring, just not yet.
So now I have a three-day weekend with no plans, and I desperately need to do something out of my usual routine. I'm seriously burnt out after this horrid winter. I can't go into Boston, because it's Marathon weekend, and that way madness lies. I have a few days to wrack my brains for ideas.
At least the weather has finally been spring-like. I took a nice long walk at the wildlife refuge on Saturday, where the snow is finally gone. I didn't find too many signs of spring except for a turtle and a heron, but it was a lovely day and it was nice to be in the woods with no bugs.
