When all else fails with a Mac and a stuck disc, reboot. Usually it will eject anything inside on shut down and you can grab it then. :)

My husband was home alone with our new Mac mini and was so embarrassed to call me at work to ask how to eject a disc! ;) contests on the " new " computer! Every mac I have ever owned still runs! They either became woefully outdated, I could no longer get software updates, or the power cord jack went. They may get outpaced by new technology but they are built to last!

There wasnt' a disc in there; I couldn't figure out how to open it to insert one. There's no little button like on the G4. Turns out the solution is the F12 key. :)

Odd, I haven't had a Mac that didn't slot load in 15 years. I didn't know they made them still. Up there it should have been congrats not contests damned spell check!
