Back to work after 5-1/2 days off. Took an embarrassingly short amount of time to get caught up. It sure is slow this time of year!
I had forgotten to grab my sunglasses on the way out, and of course halfway to work I turn east and needed them. Found a spare pair in the backseat, thank goodness.
My lunch (soup) exploded in the microwave, which meant I had to both clean it up, and go find an alternative. I went to the little sandwich place down the street and got a half-sandwich, which was delicious (real turkey), and soup, which I saved for supper. While I was out, snowflakes were flying around in the sunshine. I think they blew over from NY.
On the drive home, the slender sliver of moon kept me company as the radio (having a sense of humor) played Dark Side of the Moon and Bad Moon Rising. Methinks the DJ looked out the window. *g*
This is the first day in over a year I haven't taken any pictures. The day isn't over yet, but nothing has presented itself as a good subject (except for the moon, but I was driving at the time). I guess this is my first day off. It feels weird.
