I took a walk in the woods at Heritage Park on my lunch hour, where it was mostly brown and grey, punctuated by bits of bright orange. What little color is left really stands out in the mostly bare woods.














It's hard to tell how many trees there actually are in this clump of six trunks:




It was also difficult to get a shot showing all six! But I did count them. :)

It's been a very slow and boring day so far, but as a friend pointed out on Facebook, boring is better than a lot of things. And she's right.
