Another absolutely beautiful Saturday in October! I walked down to the park, where the swan was enjoying the lovely day.
There were a ton of people there though, even more than a usual Saturday. I thought it was for the soccer games they usually have there, but the line of buses should have been my first clue.
As I headed down to the woods, I heard people yelling, and then a swarm of runners came around the corner.
My beloved woods were overrun, literally. As was part of the park.
Oh, well. I walked around, happy I had remembered to bring my iPod, and tried to enjoy the parts of the park that weren't crowded.
I'm planning to get out once more before the sun goes down. It's supposed to be near freezing tonight!
