On my walk this evening (it was finally not too hot to go walking), I started thinking about the things I *do* want, as opposed to all the things I've been shedding the past couple of weeks.
The things I want that I don't have:
* A decent digital SLR camera and lenses.
* A computer powerful enough to process pictures taken with said camera.
* A scanner & printer to go with said computer.
* A reliable vehicle.
* Decent walking shoes & boots.
* The means to replace worn out clothing & other items.
* A small house of my own. With a big yard.
When I think about my dream house, it's really the yard I dream about. A flower garden out front. Herb and vegetable gardens in the back. A place to have a fire pit. A place to connect with the earth, and for friends and family to gather. A cottage, maybe, or even one of those Park Model trailers.
That's it, really. Other things would be nice, but not essential. I don't want a lot of stuff.
I just have to figure out how to achieve this, besides winning the lottery. *g*
We didn't get any exotic animals today, but Joe from Armata's brought us chocolaty goodness.
I am so looking forward to getting all that crap stuff out of my living room. Tag sale starts tomorrow!
