busy day

I was busy almost all day today. Yet for some reason, the day did not fly by. At least most of the people who kept me busy were my own customers.

One of the ads we did last week got a little messed up, but my customer (who runs a New Age-type place) was very understanding: "Mercury is retrograde," she said. And boy, is it ever.

I used to find monkeys and apes very disconcerting when I was a child. I think it's the not-quite-humanness. I like apes now (seen in a zoo or on TV), but I'm still not sure about monkeys, especially close up.

Maybe that's it - they're like us, but not like us. Fingers, ears, face... tail.
