Not only was the egret back at the park this morning, but the great blue heron was there as well! They were both positioned in the perfect spot for me to sneak up on them, as there was a large tree between us.

I am not sure whether I'll get to the Pioneer Valley this trip. If I do, it's likely to be a very brief visit, solely for history research. But I wave at you in passing.
