I'm kind of glad I'm not still at camp, as it is raining a steady, soaking rain today. We do so need it, though, so I don't begrudge not being able to go walking on my lunch break. The grass is getting quite brown and crispy in a lot of places. I stepped in a puddle coming back from the car, but that's OK; it gives me an excuse to be barefoot while my shoes dry out. *g*
It's been a slow week here at Reminder Headquarters for World Domination*, but that's OK, too. I needed a slow week to get back into the groove.
A local candidate, who our editor refers to as "that slimy weasel," came in to reserve ad space for the election. I was proud of how professional I was, even though I loathe him. He's one of those good-looking, cocky guys who are full of ambition but have nothing substantial to offer. Plus, he's a Republican. *g* He's getting an endorsement from Senator Centerfold* this evening, which just pushes him lower into the slime pit in my estimation. ;)
The bunny was back by the parking lot again this morning.
I wonder how our baby bunnies at Brushwood are doing? I miss those little guys!
I'm looking forward to having a weekend with no obligations. For once, my family reunion isn't the weekend after I get back from camp. That's such a relief. I can relax, finish unpacking, do some laundry, and sleep.
Oh, and for those of you who are fans, don't forget that Being Human starts again this Saturday! I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with those characters this season.
Have a fabulous weekend, all!
* I can't take credit for either of these; I must give it to Mike, our editor. :)
