Another cold, windy day today. I guess this is our payment for such a nice March, and most of April! They assure us that it will be nice again for the weekend, which I hope is true. It's Beltane!
Mum is trying to get me to go to church with them on Sunday, because my niece is doing a presentation on Disney Princesses (how most of them are strong women), but I had really wanted to get to the Arboretum on Sunday morning before I went over to visit. It's been a while since I've been there, and it's one of my favorite places. I want to support Willow, but the call of the trees is strong. Argh.
One of my coworkers brought me a bunch of lilacs this morning, and the office smelled wonderful all day. I do love lilacs!
This evening, I will be plopped in front of the telly watching David Tennant and Patrick Stewart in Hamlet. Not my favorite of the Bard's plays, but it's the one we read in English class in high school. And who can resist the Doctor and Captain Picard? Not I.
