Originally uploaded by LizzieBelle Too. I'm enjoying my last day of the extra-long weekend. I took a walk down to Stanley Park, where the peonies were in bloom. Click the pic to see it bigger - I just love the ruffly pink petals!
It was quite warm, and muggy too. I rolled up my pantlegs (they have loops & buttons), and wished I had worn a tank instead of a tee. I wouldn't have minded if it had rained this time!
While I was uploading the pix, it got quite dark out, and I heard rumbles of thunder. We had a brief but intense storm, and now it's sunny again. The storm is headed east; look out in Boston!
Happy birthday today to corachaos and daurdabla - two of my favorite ex-citizens of MA. I hope it's a good one for you both!
