I tried watching The Assassination of Jesse James... last night, but I gave up halfway through. It just didn't do it for me. I'm not an art-house flick chick like chalkhorse. *g* It was way too slow, too disjointed, and I couldn't find a plot anywhere. None of the characters were particularly sympathetic. I get that they were train robbers and killers, but if I don't care about what happens to them, you've lost me. Especially since you know, from the title, how things are going to turn out. Great cinematography, though. The shot with the train in the dark was cool.
I must work on getting caught up on BSG. I've taped the last three weeks' shows, and I really should watch them. I wish that either I could stay awake later, or they'd show it earlier!
