It's a lovely, sunny (if a bit cold) day for a change, so I went down to Stanley Park to capture some winter with my camera.
There's more ice than snow, but things looked really pretty. Here's that tree again:
I headed down the stairs (which was a tricky maneuver), where I was greeted by a gaggle of lonely (and hungry) geese:
I don't think anyone's come to visit them since before the storm; there were no human footprints, and they practically ran over to me, all honking. *g*
Once they figured out I didn't have any food, they went on their way, except for one who was quite persistent:
He even tried to eat my boot:
Even the ducks tried to get a handout, and they're usually shy:
There were lots of tracks in the snow:
Even the squirrels were bolder than usual:
It's a nice day for a walk. :)
