OMG finally
LJ seems to have been unavailable all morning, and I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Mercury retrograde, much? Ack.
Anyway, the stomach bug I had yesterday seems to have flown the coop, but today I'm feeling a cold coming on. Jeez louise! I'm drinking lots of water and juice, and downing zinc and vitamin C, but my appetite hasn't really come back. I had some toast for breakfast, but I'm still not hungry. Which is probably just as well; losing some weight would be a good thing. I'd rather not do it this way, though. I'm not sure going out to the grocery store would be that good an idea, so I'll have to scrounge the cupboards to see what to bring for the Samhain feast tonight. I don't feel bad enough to stay home from that, which is good.
I got some more writing done yesterday afternoon and this morning, and I'm up to 2619 words so far. Still not where I should be, but progress just the same. I'm hoping to do more this afternoon, and my notebook's going with me tonight. I'm usually up fairly early, so I can get some done before the troops get up tomorrow. Nike the cat can keep me company. So far, the protagonist has discovered a mystery in her adopted home town, and found a figure in a picture who shouldn't be there. The plot thickens!
